Designed and manufactured in Australia, each piece is produced in Sydney from 100% sustainably sourced recycled polypropylene through a closed-loop production process in collaboration with our manufacturing partner, Defy (a Sydney-based plastic recycling company).

Originally initiated as a series of balloon-casting experiments in 2022 and developed through nearly three years of experimentation and prototyping, the project explores the relationship between permanence and impermanence, sculpture and utility, while reimagining a familiar discarded form as a lasting functional object.

No dye is used to achieve the palette, instead, a considered combination of recycled plastic granules (Plastic Code 5, PP or Polypropylene), resulting in subtle variations between pieces that make each object unique.

Domestic. 

We offer both Standard and Express shipping options within Australia. Standard shipping is $10 and complimentary for orders over $100. Express shipping is $15 and complimentary for orders over $250. 

All online orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. 

International. 

We offer Tracked Standard shipping with AusPost on International orders. Shipping costs depend on your destination country and will be displayed at the checkout before an order is placed. Please note that this shipping cost does not include any import fees or customs duties. 

Orders to most countries can be processed automatically at checkout. For countries not currently available and International Express shipping, please email shop@chong-shop.com where we can organise a quote for you. 

International orders with a destination outside of Australia may incur customs, taxes or duties charges. Chong Shop does not accept responsibility for any customs, taxes or duties charges that may apply to your order. We are unable to estimate what charges may apply to an order and should charges apply, the receiver is responsible for payment. We recommend finding out customs information in your destination country before placing your order. Chong Shop is unable to alter the order value or mark a shipment as a gift. 

If a customer refuses to accept a shipment from Chong Shop, they are liable for any shipping fees, import charges as well as the cost of returning the shipment to Chong Shop. 

We generally do not accept return or exchange unless it's faulty or damaged during transit.
